Tai Chi

Tai Chi invites you to move slow in a fast world. Often called medication in motion, Tai Chi is comprised of easy-to-learn forms that are both healing and mindful. Low-impact movements are practiced in a slow, flowing sequence to improve posture, balance, range of motion, confidence, cognitive abilities and mind-body integration.

Tuesdays, 12:00-12:45pm (ET)

Gentle Flow Yoga provides "me" time by allowing us to breathe and focus on ourselves in the present moment. Flowing through a series of yoga poses and stretches facilitates stress reduction, improves strength and flexibility, while also nourishing the body and mind. Chair Yoga (held the first Friday of the month) will include poses performed seated and/or standing near a chair for optional support, while Mat Yoga (held the remaining Fridays of the month) will include poses performed standing, on hands and knees, and while seated and laying on the floor. Balance poses will be incorporated, and class will conclude with a relaxation segment focusing on breathwork to reduce stress. Participants are encouraged to listen to their body and modify poses and stretches accordingly for their own safety and enjoyment.

Fridays, 12:00-12:45pm (ET)
